A 32-year-old Lone Tree man is accused of willful injury causing bodily injury, second-offense domestic abuse assault and child endangerment without injury after authorities say he allegedly assaulted his wife while she held an infant on Friday.
Records indicate that Chad L. Tyree, of 203 1/2 Devoe Street, allegedly assaulted the mother of a three-month-old boy while she held the infant at 9:57 p.m. Friday night in Lone Tree.
Tyree and the woman were said to have been arguing employment when he allegedly bit the woman, tried to strangle her, choked her multiple times and had swung a knife towards her, Johnson County Sheriff's Office records indicate.
Officers were told that Tyree had left the residence and had allegedly thrown the infant to the woman more than once when he returned to the location. Tyree also allegedly tried to physically restrain the mother from attending to the crying infant.
The woman had redness and bruising on both sides of her neck and a bite mark on her back, Johnson County Sheriff's Office records indicate. When questioned about the alleged incident, Tyree told authorities that he did not remember what happened.
Tyree was being held at the Johnson County Jail on a $9,000 bond this morning. He had a previous conviction for domestic assault on May 10th.
