Watch: Gov. Kim Reynolds news conference at 11 a.m. Thursday

Gov. Kim Reynolds held a news conference at 11 a.m. Thursday, announcing that bars in six Iowa counties will be closed because of surging cases of COVID-19.

Reynolds had resumed holding twice-weekly news conferences on Tuesdays and Thursdays to discuss coronavirus updates as schools prepare for students to return, but many of those news conference have been canceled or rescheduled because of other events, often related to storm recovery in Eastern Iowa.
