Dane's Dairy burglarized

Iowa City Police are asking for help from the public to identify two subjects captured on video surveillance burglarizing Dane's Dairy, 1430 Willow Creek Drive, at 3:15 a.m. on August 25.

Video surveillance shows that the two men broke a window to gain entry into the business and then tried to disable the video system to avoid detection. Although the system was heavily damaged, footage was retained including the images above, Iowa City Police said.

No cash or other items were taken from the business during the burglary, but the location was ransacked, an Iowa City Police Department press release indicates.

Dane's Dairy employees declined to state whether or not they have had any problems with break-ins in the past, or if they believe the August 25 burglary to be an isolated incident.

Iowa City Area CrimeStoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000 for information leading to the arrest of these suspects.
