CEDAR RAPIDS — A Cedar Rapids car wash was destroyed by fire Monday.
According to the Cedar Rapids Fire Department, firefighters were called to the car wash at 5721 C St. SW around 2:10 p.m. for a report of a car on fire in the car wash. As crews were en route, they were informed the entire building was on fire.
According to the fire department, the building was a total loss. There were no injuries reported.
The fire remains under investigation.
