Body found on Coe College campus

CEDAR RAPIDS - Police are investigating a body found on the Coe College campus as an unattended death.
According to the Cedar Rapids Police Department, the body of an adult woman was found near the intersection of College Drive and First Avenue East at 5:20 a.m. Friday. Police said they are trying to identify the woman. Her body has been sent to the medical examiner's office to determine the cause and manner of death.
At this point, police do not believe there is any risk to the public.
