His old Quinnipiac teammate Kevin McKernan began selling him on the merits of playing in the ECHL with the Iowa Heartlanders, and now here MacMaster is, making a difference.

The home field at Veterans Memorial Stadium will change from Perfect Game Field to PG Cares Field for the 2023 season, it was announced Tuesday. Perfect Game scouting service was created in Cedar Rapids as a baseball club and has provided naming rights at Memorial Stadium since 2009.
