Here is an updated look at how local, Gazette-area and former Iowa Hawkeyes players are doing in the affiliated minor leagues and the major leagues. Statistics are through Friday.
Nick Allgeyer (Iowa/Toronto Blue Jays) — Has a 2-2 record and 5.55 earned run average in 10 starts for Triple-A Syracuse. Had back-to-back starts where he didn’t allow a run over 10 2/3 innings, but gave up five runs in three innings in his most recent start.
Tyler Cropley (Iowa/Kansas City Royals) — The catcher remains on the 7-day injured list at Double-A Northwest Arkansas. Is 1 for 8 in four games this season.

Matt Dermody (Norwalk/Iowa/Chicago Cubs) — Is 2-2 with a 4.50 ERA in 10 appearances, six starts, for Triple-A Iowa.
Nick Gallagher (Iowa City West/Iowa/Cleveland Guardians) — Sent to extended spring training after having no record and a 12.46 ERA in seven relief appearances for Double-A Akron.
Grant Judkins (Pella/Iowa/Oakland Athletics) — Recently activated from the injured list, the right-handed pitcher has made four starts with 1-1 record and 4.32 ERA, striking out 17 in 16 2/3 innings.
Mitch Keller (Cedar Rapids Xavier/Pittsburgh Pirates) — After a couple of bullpen outings, the righty pitcher went back into the Pirates rotation last week and beat the Dodgers in Los Angeles. Went five innings, allowed two hits, five walks and two runs, striking out five. Is 2-2 with a 5.58 ERA this season in 10 outings, eight starts.
Mason McCoy (Iowa/Seattle Mariners) — Shortstop hitting .222 in 39 games for Triple-A Tacoma, with five homers and 16 RBIs.
Cole McDonald (New Hampton/Iowa/Houston Astros) — Pitcher at high-A Asheville is 0-2 with a 9.61 ERA in 10 appearances, two starts. Has 31 strikeouts in 19 2/3 innings.
Robert Neustrom (Sioux City North/Iowa/Baltimore Orioles) — Outfielder has 12 doubles and nine home runs at Triple-A Norfolk. Hitting .238 with 32 RBIs.
A.J. Puk (Cedar Rapids Washington/Oakland Athletics) — Lefty reliever has made 17 appearances for the A’s. Has a 1-0 record and 1.29 ERA, allowing just 17 hits and five walks (a 1.05 WHIP), in 21 innings. Has struck out 19.
Brady Schanuel (Iowa/Milwaukee Brewers) — Reliever has no record and a 5.40 ERA in 10 outings for high-A Wisconsin. Has 19 strikeouts in 11 2/3 innings.
Scott Schebler (Cedar Rapids Prairie/Colorado Rockies) — Outfielder hitting .250 with six homers and 23 RBIs in 38 games for triple-A Albuquerque. Hit .268 in May.
Connor Van Scoyoc (Cedar Rapids Jefferson/Los Angeles Angels) — Pitcher has made nine starts at low-A Inland Emipre. Has a 2-4 record and 8.17 ERA. Has 48 strikeouts in 39 2/3 innings.
Trenton Wallace (Iowa/Toronto Blue Jays) — Pitcher is 1-1 with a 2.41 ERA in six appearances, two starts for low-A Dunedin. Has 23 strikeouts in 18 2/3 innings.
Keaton Winn (Pekin/San Francisco Giants) — Pitching for low-A San Jose. Has made 10 appearances, eight starts, with a 1-1 record and 5.20 ERA. Has 43 strikeouts in 27 2/3 innings.
