IOWA CITY — Four Iowa City Transit routes have minor changes to arrival times starting Monday.
The changes will include adjustments of one to four minutes from current arrival times, the city said in a news release.
The four impacted routes are:
- Route 2, Court Street: Destinations include Scott Park, Frauenholtz-Miller Park and City High School.
- Route 10, West Iowa City: Destinations include UI Hospitals and Clinics, Pheasant Ridge and Fareway.
- Route 12, Highway 1: Destinations include Walmart, Aldi, Fareway and Pheasant Ridge.
- Route 13, South Gilbert: Destinations include Napoleon Park, Terry Trueblood Recreation Area, Cole Mobile Home Park and the Campus Recreation and Wellness Area.

Adjusting the arrival times will help transit drivers arrive at all destinations on time, the city said. The changes are due to driver and rider feedback after the new transit routes were implemented in August 2021.
That’s when the city’s 26 bus routes were consolidated to 13 routes. Every route changed except the Eastside Loop and downtown shuttle. The changes were made to help provide more frequent service and simplify navigating the system by combining routes that overlapped with each other.
Full schedules and routes can be find online at icgov.org/busschedules. Routes are also translated in Arabic, French, Mandarin and Spanish.
The city also has a Transit App to help riders plan their route and receive predicted arrival times.
