MARION — The city of Marion reintroduced a face mask requirement at city facilities this week.
The city also will hold all public meetings in September virtually, a Wednesday news release said.
The city news release cites current Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance that indicates even those who are fully vaccinated should wear masks indoors to maximize protection from the delta variant of the coronavirus.
City facilities remain open to walk-in traffic. Residents also can conduct city business online, by phone or via email.
The city will re-evaluate the policy on masks and meetings at the end of the month.
