Linn County Supervisor Chair Louie Zumbach will deliver State of the County address May 18

CEDAR RAPIDS — Linn County Board of Supervisors Chair Louie Zumbach will deliver the State of the County address next week.

Zumbach will share county goals and achievements at 4 p.m. May 18 at the Jean Oxley Linn County Public Service Center, 935 Second St. SW, in the formal boardroom.

Joining Zumbach will be Linn County Assessor Jerry Witt, Finance Director Dawn Jindrich, Budget Director Sara Bearrows and Linn County Attorney Nick Maybanks, all of whom will speak at the event.

This year’s address is following a different format than previous years and does not include a meal. The event is free and open to the public. No RSVP is necessary.

The address will be livestreamed on Linn County’s Facebook page. A recording of the event will be posted to the county website, linncountyiowa.gov.
