Cedar Rapids issues 2021 water quality report

CEDAR RAPIDS — The city of Cedar Rapids has published its annual water quality report for 2021, which provides a comprehensive look at the past year’s drinking water quality.
The city’s finished water had no violations, according to a city news release. Regulated chemicals, including nitrate, arsenic and fluoride, were all at acceptable levels, according to the report.
The Cedar Rapids Water Division achieved 100 percent compliance with the Iowa Department of Natural Resources’ water quality expectations in 2021, according to the release.
