CEDAR RAPIDS — Mayor Tiffany O’Donnell will deliver her first Cedar Rapids State of the City address online this week.
Residents may view the video starting at noon Wednesday on a special website, CityofCR.com/SOTC. This is in lieu of the annual in-person fundraising luncheon held by the League of Women Voters of Linn County because of COVID-19 concerns.
“The virtual setting allows us an opportunity to share the city’s vision in a new way,” O’Donnell said in a statement. “It also provides a way for all Cedar Rapidians to be a part of our vision — watching when it works with their schedule.”

The State of the City website will feature a video message by O’Donnell as well as League of Women Voters representative Breanna Oxley, who also is a candidate for the Linn County Board of Supervisors, and event sponsorship information.
