Today's political climate is nothing less than divisive. It is difficult to sort through the 'noise” and determine who is sincere and will work for Iowans.
I am supporting Eric Gjerde in Iowa House District 67 because I've spent time talking with him about the issues that are important to me and found I connected with his vision for making Iowa work. Together.
Iowans are concerned about health care, our jobs, and integrity and accountability in our government. Gjerde's plan to make this a reality is sensible, compassionate and attainable.

He is the parent of children with hearing loss who knows there is a better way to attain the proper health care for his family. He is living the same concerns you have about your children, or parent, or spouse, and is committed to finding a better solution.
He is passionate about working families in Iowa. I agree with him that handouts to out-of-state corporations need to be a thing of the past and that our state needs to start spending that money here in Iowa to benefit Iowans.
He is a proponent of accountability and transparency in our government. Who isn't tired of the current tactic of 'hide and seek” when it comes to members of our representative parties making it difficult to learn where our money is going?
I am ready for a fresh approach to Iowa governance. I am choosing Gjerde to lead the way.
