Vote Donahue for Senate District 37

Although writing for all types of reasons throughout my life, I have never written a political letter to the editor. I decided now is the time.

I am asking for your consideration and support in the upcoming election for Molly Donahue for the Iowa State Senate. I have known Molly personally and professionally for decades. Molly Donahue is a loyal Iowan. She was born in Cedar Rapids, went to college at Iowa State, received her Master’s from University of Northern Iowa, and carved out a career in education in her hometown. In fact, she began her career as my student teacher, eager to watch and listen and learn. Her dedication to helping students develop into strong adults mindful of their community responsibilities was apparent even at the very beginning.

Molly Donahue is a person that sees potential where others quit. When facing issues of human rights, intolerance, health, safety, labor, and education, she works tirelessly fighting for all Iowans. She has served as state representative for District 68 since 2019 with resolve and faith in the process. She never waivers from her dedication to those she represents. Molly is a representative that is out in the community cheering on our successes and fighting to look for solutions to make us a better state.

I urge you to vote for Molly Donahue for the Iowa Senate. She works hard. She is a good person. And she loves Iowa.
