Thanks for recognizing area youth

What a great idea it is to recognize students in the "14 under 14" awards as printed in the March 3 Gazette! It was a blessing to read about the acts of kindness shown by these young people as they reach out to those who may not have many friends or who struggle with disabilities. The "Best Buddies" program is such a worthwhile one, and I believe that Kennedy High School also has one. Thanks to the Kids First Law Center for sponsoring this worthwhile program and to The Gazette for the article to give this recognition. In a world where wrongdoing seems to get a lot of publicity, it is a breath of fresh air to read about those who truly care for others and reach out to help. Thank you!
