Social Security is not an entitlement

As a senior citizen, I am getting so sick and tired of the Republicans in Congress calling Social Security and Medicare, entitlements. They are not, they have been earned over years of working and paying into our government’s system.

I started working at age 18 and retired at age 60. That is quite a few years of paying into my coverage. I am insulted by their use of the word, entitlement.
