Private schools accepting public dollars invite government control

America is noted for its diverse sources of education. Because there are public and private schools with a variety of courses, there are many choices for students.
Teachers in STEAM and other specialized curriculum schools offer students more specialized studies and training. However, private schools have their own agendas formed by different rules and standards from public schools.
Once public money is offered to and accepted by private schools, they open their doors to more government control. Eventually losing the power to teach their students according to the present values.

Once private schools accept public funding, there is no going back.
