People of faith must take a stand for life

The Cedar Rapids’ March for Life was on Saturday, March 21, 2023. This was a great opportunity for Christians and all peoples of faith to rally together to protect the unborn. The purpose of the event was to show solidarity for the pro-life movement.
After observing the crowd (100-plus) we were able to determine that only a few churches were represented.
For a few weeks prior to the event, we visited many churches in the area to invite them to participate in this biblical cause. Did people from your church attend? If not, why not? Someday, we will all have to answer to God for the things we did and didn’t do.

Pro-life is pro-Bible and pro-biblical principles. The Bible says in Jeremiah 1:5: “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart.”
Does abortion (killing babies) really concern Christians and people of faith? It would appear it does not.
The churches remaining silent has resulted in 63 million babies being aborted — just as the churches in Germany remaining silent cost the lives of over 6 million people in concentration camps.
We can’t go back and change what has already happened. We pray for every woman or family that has been personally affected by abortion.
This is not about politics. Too many excuses have been made for not standing up on behalf of pre-born babies. Be courageous, take a stand!
