Kudos to all who helped with refugee garden

Kudos to all who helped immigrants become more self-sufficient: 'Teens Create Garden for Refugees in Hiawatha,” by Molly Duff, July 5. The teens, teachers, Iowa BIG, business owner, Catherine McAuley Center, Matthew 25, the Hiawatha City Council, the immigrants who are tending the gardens, and all others who have supported this - i.e. parents and citizens of Hiawatha. Empowering others empowers each of us.
That all are following up and maintaining the gardens and project is heartening. More power to the positive!
