Hinson’s vote was for party, not for Americans

U.S. Rep Ashley Hinson, your vote against the Build Back Better (BBB) plan was a vote against Americans. Your vote cements your record as an obstructionist who isn’t serious about helping the people in your district.
Thankfully, there are those in Congress who know investing our tax dollars into our communities and into our low and middle-income earners is the best way to strengthen our country.
When legislation like the American Rescue Plan and BBB are being debated, you offered us complaints with zero solutions. These bills will help put food on the table and money in our wallets. What do you have against the expansion of children’s health insurance? What's bad with covering hearing for seniors? Is capping insulin costs at $35 per month part of "a political wishlist?" Is expanding Medicaid to new mothers not important? Are you truly against extending the child tax credit and reducing the cost of child care for working families? You claim to be for families but your votes hurt them.

Saying no to this bill is only about one thing, Rep. Hinson. It's about opposing Democrats. It doesn’t matter how much the provisions in this bill will help Americans (including Republicans) nor does it matter how popular these provisions are with both parties. To you, hurting the Democrats is far more important than helping Americans.
