Hemingway’s platform makes sense for county

Too often, we elect supervisors who have no idea of how to govern a county, but simply are seeking a salary and political power.
In contrast, Phil Hemingway is one of the most qualified, most knowledgeable candidates for county supervisor to appear on the ballot. As a local business owner and lifelong resident of Johnson County, he knows how to be fiscally responsible. He will support and encourage businesses of all sizes. He will conduct county business in an open manner and he will represent all of Johnson County.
Phil is a member of the Iowa City school board. The Gazette editorial board wrote in November that 'there simply is no other member of the school board with his tenacity or attention to detail, especially on fiscal matters.”

Phil will come into office knowing what to do and how to do it. Instead of trying to figure out what he'll be doing, he's telling us what he will do - and his platform makes sense for Johnson County.
