Gulf states should sue Iowa over water quality

I can hardly stand to read any more about it. In Iowa, clean water vs. agribusiness has gone on long enough. I am surprised that none of the Gulf states have sued the state of Iowa for its nitrate runoff negligence, shown to contribute to the destructive algae blooms in the Gulf of Mexico, which, in turn, is affecting their economies.
I wish they would. Maybe that would at least get Iowans to wake up and demand that Iowa pass and provide funds to enforce some proper legislation, regarding manure runoff from massive animal operations. I have seen their irresponsibility with my own eyes.
That would be a start, as manure runoff isn't the only contributor. Iowa needs agribusiness for our economy and we desperately need clean water. And, if you haven’t realized it yet: your own money (tax dollars) has been used for years to clean up your own drinking water, which has been ruined by our state’s deliberate blind eye to the damage agribusiness is doing to your water.

I’ll be contacting the states of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. Maybe they will help us.
