Fortunate to have local options to treat pain relief

We have excellent health care in the Cedar Rapids metro area. For many of us travel time is within 15 to 30 minutes from our home to the chosen health care provider.
Anyone who has endured persistent neck, back, knee, hip, shoulder, sciatica or nerve entrapment pain and other painful conditions knows that it’s possible to come to the end of the road in finding treatment. I found myself in that position, and you have the sinking feeling that you have exhausted all treatment options. You begin to wonder if there is any help available to you after being treated by several health care providers. One health care provider you might not know about is Thrive Care in Cedar Rapids.
I found help at Thrive Care, which is owned by Dr. Cody and Amber Scharf. Dr. Cody Scharf, Dr. Logan Scharf, and supporting staff, offer shockwave therapy for advanced non-surgical soft tissue treatment for relief from chronic inflammation and pain.

After a consultation, examination, and treatment, for the first time in three years after having a kyphoplasty surgery for a fractured vertebra, I could say I was pain-free from nerve entrapment, scar tissue and fibrous adhesions. The physical and psychological effect is immense.
