Devil is in details with gun compromises

Are you aware of a “pig in a poke?” Lots of gun compromises are pigs in a poke (common sense gun laws, whatever they may be) but you expect our senators to support an unknown compromise of what? Red flag sounds good but who and how many does it take to confiscate someone’s gun? What is the procedure and time line for returning the gun? The devil is in the details.

Only the January 6 rioters, pro-abortion groups and Democrats think their choices should be determined by mob rule but most of us still believe we are a democracy and are governed by the Constitution and elections. Iowa senators Grassley and Ernst are not beholden to non-Iowans, but to the people who elected them, currently majority Iowa Republicans.
