Abolish the Electoral College

We have all witnessed the current commission spending tax dollars to see who caused the insurrection on Jan. 6. All could have been prevented if we just let the popular vote decide our elections.
No delegates to “mess” with. No additional voting by people “pledged” to vote according to their state’s outcome. We see how this could have been manipulated and possibly was being considered.
Select the President by popular vote only—whoever has the most wins.
