ALBURNETT — Will Dible, the high school principal in the Spencer Community School District in northwest Iowa, has been named the next superintendent of the Alburnett Community School District.
As a high school principal, Dible provided professional development and coaching for teachers while developing and supporting academic programs in the high school.
“I feel incredibly honored the board has chosen me to be the next leader of the Alburnett school district,” Dible said in a news release. “I look forward to working with the staff and community to continue providing a great education to students. My wife and I can’t wait to continue raising our kids in such a wonderful and supportive community.”

Dible will begin work July 1 in the 700-student K-12 district in northern Linn County.
Before being hired by the school board earlier this month, Dible was interviewed by a group of students, parents, teachers and community members.
Alburnett Superintendent Danielle Trimble is resigning effective June 30, after being named superintendent of the Ballard Community School District in Huxley in central Iowa. Trimble has led the Alburnett district for more than a decade.
Benton superintendent
The Benton Community School District also has appointed a new superintendent — James Bieschke, who will begin July 1.
Bieschke is now the district’s associate superintendent and school business officer. Previously, he was principal of the high school in Van Horne.
“My career in the district and community over the last 16 years has prepared me well for this new role, and I am excited to begin leading the district to even more success,” Bieschke said in a news release.
Benton Superintendent Pamela Ewell is retiring at the end of the school year.
The Alburnett and Benton school boards both had Grundmeyer Leader Services lead their superintendent search.
