Twisters Gymnastics shines at Fire and Ice Challenge
Local team wins 3 team titles, several individual golds at Waverly meet

Twisters Gymnastics won three team titles at the Fire and Ice Challenge, hosted by Ruby Gymnastics in Waverly last weekend.
Twisters won the Xcel Bronze, Silver and Diamond titles, and placed second in Gold and Platinum.

Eva Hayes won five individual titles in Xcel Silver, capturing the vault, bars, beam, floor exercise and all around. Alyse McDermott won the bars, beam and all around.

Lila Cue (floor, all around) was a double winner for Twisters, and Kinley Coffin (bars) Adria Deford (beam), Jade Wery (vault), Novalee Johnson (beam), Mya Loveless (floor), Izzy Streff (floor) and Kylee Smith (floor) also were winners.
Silver placewinners were Payton Ritze, Jocelyn Kinne and Gracey Feight.
Kali Decker won four Xcel Bronze titles (vault, bars, floor and all around) and Eloise Boyer (bars, floor, all around) and Zissa Santamaria (vault, bars, all around) both won three.
Other Xcel Bronze winners were Azaela Moore (vault) and Khloe Helgens (floor). Adeline Garin, Bayla Walters and Camille Wenzel were placewinners.
Evalee Netz (bars) and Alivia Foster (beam) were winners for the Xcel Diamond team. Placewinners were Maggie Goldberg, Tomina Gerst and Natlie Osterberg.
Anna Tiedeman led the Xcel Gold team with wins in the vault, bars, floor and all around. Marina Kellison won three titles — bars, floor and all around.
Reese Wendling (vault), Ava Gladden (beam), Erica Marek (all around) and Elisabeth Vanous (beam) also won Gold titles. Cora Harvey was a placewinner, along with Jersey Jergens, Sophia Sprague, Emily Walser, Mia Cerretti, Addison Kingery, Ally Lopata, Thea Eid, Riley Schaldecker and Danica Sperry.
Sydney Luckey won four Xcel Platinum golds (vault, beam, floor and all around) and Reagan Furler (floor, all around) won two. Sadie Reuter (vault) and Lauren Duncan (bars) also won titles.
Placewinners were Elli Frame, Maggie Wauters, Tori Sletteland, Brianna Pierce and Bella Richardson.
Amelia Archibald (beam, all around) won two Level 3 titles. Placewinners were Gracie Raes, Everly Zimmerman and Kyla Schilling.
Carolyn Elliott (beam) won a Level 4 gold, and Kaia Lokasari, Ava Manthe, Nataleigh LeClere and Kaylee Carr placed.
Twisters also competed in the Iowa Gym Nest’s Winter Wonderland earlier last month, winning the Xcel Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond team titles.
Myla Loveless (vault, all around), Kylee Smith (floor, all around) and Rylie Bartlett (floor, all round) won a pair Silver titles, and Izzy Streff (floor), Poppy Brueck (floor), Marissa Wonick (bars), Jade Wery (floor) and Emma Everson (beam) also won gold.
Anna Tiedeman led the Gold team with wins in the bars, beam and all around. Ava Gladden (floor), Dylan Wagner (floor), Mia Cerretti (floor), Riley Schaldecker (beam), Carlee Schultz (bar) and Emilie Valliant (vault) also won.
Double winners Sadie Reuter (bars, floor) and Sydney Luckey (vault, beam) led the Platinum team. Other winners were Reagan Furler (all around), Elli Frame (beam), Maggie Wauters (floor), Brianna Pierce (floor) and Gia Cole (floor).
The Diamond team was led by winners Kayla Gilmore (floor) and Natalie Osterberg (bars).
Azaela Moore (vault) and Kali Decker (vault) won Xcel Bronze titles.
Twisters’ Optionals teams participated in the Metroplex Challenge, hosted at Fort Worth Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas, the same weekend and Audrey Beatty (vault, bars, all around) won three Level 8 titles.
Mackenzie Staub (bars) in Level 6, and Whitney Fischer (beam) and Brookelyn Kreel (beam) in Level 7 also won titles.
MOSER CAPTURES 26 TITLES
Moser School of Dance and Gymnastic had 26 winners at a USTA Power Tumbling meet held in Boone.
Winners were Sophia Geistkemper, Ella Digmann, Mya Reittinger, Autumn Domeyer, Lailah Moyle, Tucker Erickson, Kirsten Farmer, Avery Brown, Lainey Payne, Caleb Crane, Madelyn Bockenstedt, McKenna Casey, McKinley Wulfekuhle, Lexi Martin, Sutton Smith, Jessica Kracke, Rosalie Blahnik, Katie Lueck, Sylvia Kramer, Aubrey Oakland, Scarlett Benesh, Jeffrey Breier, Kamden Sotrander, Brendall Recker, Ky'Lynn Raber and Eliza Reicher.
Annie Gulick placed second, along with Makayla Gasper, Izzy Lutgen, Allysa Sadewasser, Miya Pitz, Keely Recker, Ella Davidshofer, Laura Pierschbacher, Mattie Johnson, Hannah Crane, Lauren Gogel, Amelia Miller, Kennedi Benesh, Gracen Hein, Lucy Scherbring, Colton Wissmiller, Jacob Breier, McKynzie Strickell, Jadin Stephenson, Brylynn Recker, Hadlee Erickson, Olivia Pasker, Jovie Felton and Delaine Holt.
Third-place finishers were Megan Pierschbacher, Kennedi Bevans, Mylie Elliot, Delaney Brown, Julia Kuennen, Sara Petsche, Paige Vaske, Makenna Behrends, Gunner Davis, Ruby West, Olivia Nylund, Mila Davis and Kylie Martin.
