It was mixture of semifinals and championships (and consolations) Friday at the boys' state basketball tournament.

CLASS 2A CHAMPIONSHIP
No. 1 Western Christian 62, No. 2 Pella Christian 50
Western Christian continued a banner year for the school, adding a boys' basketball state title to championships in football, volleyball and girls' basketball.
The Wolfpack shot 54.1 percent and made 7-of-13 3-pointers to repeat as 2A state champion.
Jesse Jansma had 22 points, six rebounds and three assists while Ben Gesink put up 21, seven and four. Caleb Harmsen added 13 points, making 3-of-4 3s.
Kenden Veenstra led PC with 12, while Levi Jungling had 11. The Eagles closed within 50-48 with 3:33 remaining before Western ended the game on a 12-2 run, with half those points coming fron Gesink.

CLASS 1A CHAMPIONSHIP
No. 2 Grand View Christian 61, No. 4 Gladbrook-Reinbeck 50
Grand View Christian stormed out to a 19-2 lead by the end of the first quarter and won its first state title.
Grant DeMeulenaere had 17 points, five rebounds and four assists for the Thunder, who also got double-figures scoring from Mach Nyaw (11) and Bryce Crabb (10).
Joe Smoldt, the state's leading scorer, had a game-high 25 points, but it came on 5-of-19 shooting. He was 11-for-14 from the free-throw line. The Rebels shot 31.7 percent, GVC an even 50.
Smoldt was named all-tournament team captain.
CLASS 4A SEMIFINALS
No. 1 Iowa City West 61, No. 5 Cedar Rapids Kennedy 37
West jumped out to a 12-0 lead and it was basically a rout from there.
Kennedy cut the lead to five in the second quarter, but a 9-0 West run made it 28-14 at halftime. The Cougars shot just 24.6 percent, including 13 percent from 3-point range.
West's Connor McCaffery led all scorers with 18 points, while Devontae Lane and Patrick McCaffery had 15 apiece.
Derrick Diggins and Drake Brewster had nine points apiece to lead Kennedy.
No. 2 West Des Moines Valley 64, No. 6 Sioux City East 54
Defending champion Valley will head back to the title game for a rematch with Iowa City West.
Charley Crowley scored 25 points on 8-for-9 shooting and 9-for-11 from the line and had eight rebounds.
The Tigers, who shot 54.1 percent from the floor, trailed only 2-0. It was 16-16 after one, then 30-25 Tigers at the half.
East was within 41-37 going to the fourth, but never got closer. Van Rees led the Black Raiders, who had 17 turnovers, with 23 points.
CLASS 2A CONSOLATION
No. 3 Carroll Kuemper 73, No. 5 Camanche 53
Matt Dentlinger had 23 points and 16 rebounds to lead Kuemper to a third-place finish.
Dentlinger was 8-of-14 from the field, including 3-of-4 from 3-point range. Sam Auen added 12 points, all 3s, for the Knights, who led 37-31 at halftime and held Camanche to 31.1 percent shooting.
Cameron (16) and Dakota (12) Soenksen combined for 28 points for the Indians.
CLASS 1A CONSOLATION
No. 1 North Linn 76, No. 3 Remsen St. Mary's 66
Jake Hilmer was a perfect 15-for-15 from the free-throw line and scored a game-high 31 points on 8-of-16 shooting as the Lynx ended their season with a win.
Ryan Miller added 24 points on 5-of-7 3-point shooting and NL shot 54.8 percent in a battle of teams who suffered their first losses in Thursday's semifinals.
Nicholas Ruden led St. Mary's with 22 points and seven boards.
