Emersyn Courtney, Evalee Netz power Twisters to sweep

Emersyn Courtney and Evalee Netz of Twisters Gymnastics won five Xcel titles apiece at the Cedar Valley Classic in Cedar Falls last weekend.

Twisters captured all the Xcel team titles — Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond.

Courtney won the vault, bars, beam, floor exercise and all around in Silver, and Netz captured the same events in Diamond.

Jade Wery captured the vault, bars, beam and all around in Silver. Other Twisters winners in Silver were Novalee Johnson (floor), Myla Loveless (bars, floor), Alyse McDermott (bars) and Kylee Smith (floor). Placewinners were Delaney Shannon, Presley Senn and Lydia Pump

The Twisters Gold title was led by four-event winners Reese Wendling (bars, beam, floor, all around) and Marina Kellison (vault, bars, floor, all around). Ava Gladden won the vault, beam and all around, Anna Tiedeman captured the vault and bars and Danica Sperry the floor and all around.

Jersey Jergens placed in Gold along with Mia Cerretti, Olivia Ovel, Emilie Vaillant, Addison Kingery, Ally Lopata and Thea Eid.

Sydney Luckey won three events (vault, floor, all around) in Platinum. Reagan Furler won the floor and all around, Elli Frame the bars, Maggie Wauters the vault, Brianna Pierce the vault and Sadie Reuter the bars.

Platinum placewinners were Sarah Beatty, Claire McGee, Raelynn Fitzpatrick, Tori Sletteland, Gia Cole and Bella Richardson.

Alivia Foster won the floor exercise in Diamond and Jayme Brown, Marissa Rahe, Tomina Gerst, Natalie Osterberg and Natalie Lienhard were placewinners.

MOSER WINS 40 TITLES

Moser School of Dance and Gymnastic captured 40 titles at an USTA Power Tumbling meet in Iowa Falls last weekend.

Moser winners were Izzy Lutgen, Hannabelle Erickson, Carley Hillebrand, Ella Digmann, Ella Davidshofer, Lailah Moyle, Tucker Erickson, Kirsten Farmer, Mallory McElmeel, Madilyn Payne, Addison Norton, Julia Kuennen, Jayda Even, Laura Pierschbacher, Caleb Crane, Lucas Sadewasser, Mattie Johnson, Madelyn Bockenstedt, Adalyn Ostrander, Jenna Yest, Jewel Hemry, Rachel Kaufman, Kyla Ries, Lexi Martin, Claire Manning, Taylor McAllister, Jessica Kracke, Olivia Weston, Katie Lueck, Jadin Stephenson, Kalei Pederson, Aubrey Oakland, Matilda Kuhlman, Scarlett Benesh, Vivian Honkomp, Bo McCarthy, Olivia Nylund, Jovie Felton, Ky'Lynn Raber and Kylie Martin.

Allysa Sadewasser finished second, along with Olivia Schindler, Madelyn Troester, Avery Brown, Aaliyah Corcoran, Lainey Payne, Allison Klingman, Emi Harmon, Morie Johnson, McKinley Wulfekuhle, Makenna Behrends, Ruby West, Hadley Amfahr, Hadlee Erisckon, Lily McCarthy, Jada Honkomp, Imogen Milroy and Delanie Holt.

Third-place finishers were Megan Pierschbacher, Miya Pitz, Gabbi Funke, Autumn Domeyer, Mylie Elliot, Adalyn Monk, Lauren Gogel, Lindsay Rutchi, Amelia Miller, Mackenzie Bries, Gracen Hein, Greyson Manning, Mckynzie Strickell, Rosalie Blahnik, Grace Pederson, Maelyn Hickey, Kinleigh Smock, Arianna Pottebaum and Eliza Reicher.

SOMERSAULTS GYMNASTS SHINES

Emmie Barber and Brynn Thompson of Somersaults Gymnastics recently won four events each at Chow's Winter Classic.

The Xcel Silver and Gold teams placed third.

Barber won the bars, beam, floor and all around in Bronze. Thompson captured the bars, beam, floor and all around in Silver.

Tenley Murphy won the vault in Bronze and Maggie Schmitt was a placewinner.

Elliana Brockhohn won vault, floor and all around in Silver, Addelyn Brockhohn took the vault and Lily Freytag the vault in Silver. Hadley Richardson and Payton Owens placed.

Kennedy Hurlbert and Ava Clasen won the beam and Cailey Schroer bars in Gold. Somersaults placewinners were Sophia Lyon, Carly Cronbaugh, Brooklyn French, Aubrey Hoefer, Kamaria Wade and Ella Deiters.

Bailey Hakert won three events in Platinum (bars, floor, all around) and Bailey Davis placed in Diamond.

Hannah Williams (vault) won a Level 3 title and Emmy Bunge, Azylin Helmrichs, Helen Engel and Emma Abernathy placed.
