In the span of an hour, the 2020 derecho wreaked havoc on the region's power grids, creating a workload that would normally take years to complete. What were some of the greatest challenges in getting back online and what lessons have we learned as we go forward? How fragile is our power grid right now and how long will it take to make full repairs?
