While Iowa has had challenges with the digital divide for years, access to the internet has been crucial throughout the coronavirus pandemic. To be able to learn or sign up for your coronavirus test, communities and organizations around the state have had to come up with unique ways to provide access to those who didn't have access to the service.
Panelists include: Mark Lane, Superintendent, Decorah Public Schools; Hollie Trenary, Marion Public Library Director. Moderator: Craig Gemoules, The Gazette.
This session was part of the 2020 Iowa Ideas Conference presented by ITC and held Oct. 15-16, 2020. This session originally occurred at 2-3 p.m. on Oct. 15, 2020. The Diversity & Inclusion Track is sponsored by Inclusive ICR. The two-day conference hosted by The Gazette brings together policy makers, experts and community members passionate about the state's future. For more, visit www.iowaideas.com.
