IOWA CITY — Iowa cornerback Terry Roberts is “probably not” available for the Hawkeyes’ game Saturday against No. 2 Ohio State, head coach Kirk Ferentz said Tuesday.
Roberts sufferrf an injury to his lower leg during Iowa’s 9-6 loss to Illinois before the bye week, Ferentz said.
Barring a late recovery from Roberts, Cooper DeJean likely will start again at cornerback opposite of Riley Moss. DeJean has started three of Iowa’s six games at cornerback and the other three at Cash.

Sebastian Castro could again see a larger role at Cash if DeJean has to play heavily at cornerback.
Wide receiver Diante Vines has “got a chance” of playing against Ohio State, Ferentz said. It would be Vines’ first performance of the season after suffering an injury in the summer.
Ferentz was less optimistic about the status of fellow wide receiver Keagan Johnson, who has played in only one game this season.
“When he’s ready, I’ll let you know,” Ferentz said. “Right now, he’s still trying to get back.”
