South Carolina’s Aliyah Boston impressed by how Iowa’s Monika Czinano ‘doesn’t dribble’
Boston says Czinano’s scoring-without-dribbling knack is ‘something that I haven't seen’

DALLAS — South Carolina star center Aliyah Boston's compliment for her counterpart at Iowa, Monika Czinano, might not sound like a compliment to someone not well-versed in post play.
“She doesn’t dribble,” said Boston, last year’s national player of the year. “No seriously, that's pretty cool. It's something that I haven't seen honestly from other post players.”
Czinano’s scoring-without-dribbling knack is an “impressive” trait. In Czinano’s first three games of the NCAA tournament, she only took one dribble, according to ESPN.

“As a post player, you’re trying to work for deep position,” Boston said. “She does a really good job of that, and she uses her pivot.”
