Report: Iowa men’s basketball to play at Seton Hall in Gavitt Games

Hawkeyes will have 6 nonconference games vs. teams from major conferences

College basketball reporter Jon Rothstein gave the matchups for the 2022 men’s basketball Gavitt Games, pitting Big Ten and Big East teams.

Iowa, which was not in the event last year, will play at Seton Hall sometime on the week of Nov. 14-18.

This means the Hawkeyes will have seven nonconference games against teams from major conferences. They will play Iowa State and Georgia Tech at home, Duke in New York, and Clemson and either California or TCU in the Emerald Coast Classic in Niceville, Fla.
