1. Iowa, which has won its last three games, also has won its last three games against Maryland. The most-recent was 110-87 in College Park last Feb. 10.
2. This is the first season Maryland is coached by Kevin Willard. He had seven 20-win seasons at Seton Hall and one before that at Iona.
3. Jahmir Young, a 6-foot-1 transfer from Charlotte, leads the Terrapins in scoring (14.9 ppg) and assists. He was first-team All-Conference USA the previous two seasons.
4. Iowa’s Kris Murray and Filip Rebraca are the only teammates in the nation who average 8.9 rebounds or more. Rebraca is second in the Big Ten in offensive rebounds per game.
5. Iowa made 12 3-pointers in each of its last two games, tying its high for the season. Payton Sandfort had eight 3s and Murray seven over those contests.
