John Crumes
JOEY JAY CRUMES
Oct. 6, 1961 Nov. 19, 2019
It's been about a year since Joe passed because I was not able to write this until now. Joe did pass quietly at Mission Hospital after a 20-day fight for his life. We thought he'd recover but sadly, his fight ended on Nov. 19, 2019, at 7:47 p.m. Sad for us who miss him so badly but Joe was ready after a long and difficult 15-year battle for his stolen health. He was the strongest man I've ever known and to have been his wife was the best life of happiness one could ever know. No matter what, he remained happy and saw the best in everything, even in me, his very imperfect wife of 24 years, Judith Crumes of Mission Viejo, Calif.
Also, he is survived by his parents, Jim and Henrietta Crumes of Vinton, Iowa; his siblings, Marty Crumes of Las Vegas, Cat Crumes of Vinton and Sean Crumes of Cedar Rapids; and a daughter Angella.
This world lost some of its light when Joe left us. But, someday we will meet again, this I know because the Bible tells me so.
I miss you Joe, I love you so and I always will.
