IOWA CITY — Mission Creek Festival is about to build new bridges between new literature, new music and new artistic experiences.
The annual cross-medium event, presented by the Englert Theatre, gets underway Tuesday (4/2) and continues through April 7 in downtown Iowa City venues, most being within a five-minute walk of each other. Venues include the Englert Theatre, Gabe’s, The Mill, Prairie Lights Books, Big Grove Brewery & Taproom, Yacht Club and more.
Among the headliners are Jenny Lewis; artist-in-residence Jaimie Branch; Jay Som; Mitski; and Hurray for the Riff Raff.
