President George W. Bush and former First Lady Laura Bush will be honored for their humanitarian work in Africa at a fundraiser for the Hoover Presidential Foundation’s $20 million capital campaign to renovate the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum at West Branch.

A nationally acclaimed presidential historian and biographer, Richard Norton Smith served as director of the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum from 1988 to 1993 and then as director for the Eisenhower, Reagan and Ford libraries until 2001.

The Herbert Hoover Presidential Library and Museum has reopened and visitors will be able to view the museum exhibits by purchasing timed entry tickets online in advance.
