Tyler Linderbaum named Big Ten’s top offensive lineman
No other Iowa offensive players earned first-team recognition

IOWA CITY — Iowa center Tyler Linderbaum can add a few more awards to his resume.
Linderbaum won the Big Ten’s 2021 Rimington-Pace Offensive Lineman of the Year award.
The Solon native is the second Iowa player to win the award in the last three seasons. Tristan Wirfs won the award in 2019.

Both coaches and media named Linderbaum to the all-Big Ten first team as well.
No other player on Iowa’s offense earned first-team recognition. Ohio State, Michigan, Wisconsin and Minnesota had multiple first-team honorees.
Guard Kyler Schott received all-Big Ten second team honors from coaches and third team from media.
Media named running back Tyler Goodson to the all-Big Ten third team, and coaches named tight end Sam LaPorta to the all-Big Ten third team.
Tackle Mason Richman received honorable mention from both media and coaches.
