Iowa football added a center to its 2021 recruiting class Saturday.
Michael Myslinski, a three-star, 6-foot-2, 285-pound offensive lineman from Bishop Kenny High School in Jacksonville, Fla., originally committed to play at Texas in August, but reopened the recruitment process on Dec. 11.
He announced Saturday on Twitter he's signing with the Hawkeyes.
'I would like to thank my family, friends, and coaches for pushing me to become the athlete and man I am ... With that being said, I'm beyond excited to announce my commitment to The University of Iowa #GoHawkeyes,” Myslinski wrote.
Myslinski is the son of former NFL player and coach Tom Myslinski. Tom enjoyed an NFL playing career from 1992-2000 and more recently has been the strength and conditioning coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars since 2012.
Iowa signed four offensive linemen in December: four-stars David Davidkov (Winnetka, Ill.), Connor Colby (Cedar Rapids Kennedy) and Beau Stephens (Blue Springs, Mo.) and three-stars Gennings Dunker (Lena, Ill.)
