Mar. 24, 2018 5:45 pm
DES MOINES - Citing 'credible” allegations of sexual harassment, Gov. Kim Reynolds announced Saturday she has fired a state agency director.
The governor's office said in a statement that Reynolds terminated Dave Jamison as director of the Iowa Finance Authority, effective immediately. The governor was made aware of the allegations of sexual harassment against him Friday evening, according to the statement, but details of the allegations were not disclosed.
The authority focuses on improving affordable housing and community development.

The authority' chief programs officer, Carolann Jensen, has been named interim director.
Jamison has been the authority's director since January 2011. Before that, he was Story County treasurer from 1995-2010 and was the Republican candidate for state treasurer in 2010.
An Iowa native and Marine Corps veteran, Jamison was president of the Iowa State County Treasurer Association, co-chairman of its website task force that established the IowaTreasurers.org website for all 99 county treasurers, and chairman of the Education Committee for National Association of County Collectors, Treasurers and Finance Officers.
In October, he was re-elected secretary/treasurer of the National Council of State Housing Agencies Board of Directors Executive Committee.
In 2017, his state gross salary was $131,391.
