CEDAR RAPIDS — Linn County Democrats will honor five longtime party activists, inducting them into the party’s Hall of Fame on Oct 23.
The inductees are Ann Bromley, Robert Bromley (posthumously), Bernard Clayton, Bev Hannon and Richard Running.
Each honoree has made significant contributions to the local, state and national Democratic Party, according to the county party’s Central Committee. That includes support for Democratic candidates and campaigns at all levels. They’ve also held elected office and board positions, reflecting years of volunteer contributions to the community.
