The Iowa high school football playoffs rolled on Friday night with all but one of our ranked teams in action.
Last week’s lone top-10 postseason meeting saw Central Lyon/George-Little Rock beat Estherville-Lincoln Central in a battle of two teams tied for the No. 8 spot in our Class 2A poll. This week, it’s the Round of 16, with every class in action and multiple matchups between ranked teams.
One of those top-10 matchups resulted in a No. 1-ranked team falling, as No. 10 Decorah upset North Scott 14-10 in Class 4A.
