Woman shot at during argument, Iowa City police say

IOWA CITY — Police are investigating after a woman reported being shot at Friday during an altercation in Iowa City.
Officers were called just before 5 p.m. to the 2400 block of Bittersweet Court. When they arrived, police said, a woman reported she was approached by another woman and the two began arguing.
While they were arguing, police said, the woman who approached pulled out a handgun and attempted to shoot the other woman.

No injuries were reported.
Police said witnesses reported seeing another person fire a gun at the victim. Officers found a shell casing and property damage at the scene.
The suspect was described as a dark-skinned woman with very short or shaved hair and a slender build, wearing a black jacket and a blue, black and white shirt.
