Two arrested in shots-fired at RV in rural Solon

SOLON — Two people have been arrested, accused of firing shots at an occupied recreational vehicle in rural Solon in November.
Bryant M. Wallace, 19, of Marion, was arrested March 14 on charges of intimidation with a dangerous weapon and control of firearm/offensive weapon by felon, according to a news release from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
He is being held in the Johnson County Jail on a $15,000 bond.

On Tuesday, a 17-year-old juvenile — whose name was not disclosed — also was arrested on charges of intimidation with a dangerous weapon and minor armed with a dangerous weapon.
The criminal complaint charges that Wallace and the juvenile traveled from Marion to rural Solon on Nov. 2, where they believed a woman and her infant daughter were located, according to the release and a criminal complaint.
Wallace drove a black minivan, with the juvenile as a passenger, slowing as they passed an occupied RV on Hickory Hollow Road NE. Wallace instructed the 17-year-old to fire at least four shots at the RV, according to according to the complaint.
The juvenile fired five shots at the RV, where one bullet penetrated the vehicle and almost hit the person inside. The woman and the baby were not inside the TV, the news release stated.
Wallace was wearing a Department of Corrections GPS ankle monitor, placing him at the scene of the fired shots, the release stated.
