The second of two Fairfield teens charged with killing their Spanish teacher has filed an appeal, asking the Iowa Supreme Court to overturn a district judge’s rulings. The judge has suspended the case pending the appeal resolution.
Two teens used a baseball bat last fall to kill a high school Spanish teacher, and one of them described in social media posts how they followed the woman, carried out the attack and hid her body, police allege.
