Man sustains life-threatening injuries after shooting in Cedar Rapids Friday
A man shot Friday night in Cedar Rapids was sent to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Cedar Rapids police were dispatched to the 2900 block of Sixth Street SW at 8:57 p.m. Friday after a man had been shot, according to a Cedar Rapids Police Department news release.
Officers found a 22-year-old man who had sustained a life-threatening gunshot wound.
Police said there is an active, ongoing investigation.
