Davenport man accused of using alias to seek UIHC medical treatment
Andre Rockett has been charged with first-degree theft after accruing over $100,000 in medical bills

A Davenport man is accused of using an alias while seeking medical treatment.
According to University of Iowa Police, Andre Rockett, 35, received medical treatment at UI Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City from June 27 to July 2, 2020, and used an alias at the time of the visit.
Rockett received treatment at the hospital again on Sep. 5-9, 2020, and used a second alias, police said.

Medical staff recognized Rockett as the same person on both his visits to the hospital.
He was identified by a local police officer and by hospital staff from photo lineups.
The total amount of outstanding medical bills from Rockett’s treatment is $108,258.
Rockett has been charged with first-degree theft, a Class C felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
