CEDAR RAPIDS - Dawn Stout, 43, of Cedar Rapids, was identified Thursday as the person who died in a head-on collision Wednesday in a construction zone east of Atkins.
The Linn County Sheriff's Office said Stout was killed and three others injured in the head-collision at 5:37 p.m. at 12001 Ellis Rd.
The sheriff's office said Stout was driving east when her vehicle collided with a westbound vehicle driven by Bryce Wagehoft, 30, of Coralville.

Wagehoft was thrown from his vehicle and trapped beneath it.
He was taken to a Cedar Rapids hospital, as were his passengers, Wendie Beard, 23, of Vinton, and David Nelson, 33, of Palo.
The sheriff's office said Wagehoft's vehicle failed to yield for a construction area and collided with Stout's vehicle in the lane that was open.
The accident remains under investigation, the sheriff's office said.
