Iowa City man, 22, killed in crash with semi on Highway 1

An Iowa City man was killed early Saturday after his vehicle collided with a semi-truck on Highway 1, according to an Iowa State Patrol report.
About 2:15 a.m. Saturday, Riley J. Reynolds, 22, was driving south in a Ford Taurus on Highway 1, about 3 miles north of Iowa City.
Parvinder Kaur, of Elk Grove, Calif., was completing a U-turn in the semi at 280th Street, blocking the southbound lane of Highway 1, the report stated.
Reynolds struck the trailer and went into the ditch, causing fatal injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
